Father Félix Aldao. Manuscript, November 18, 1831.

    Commentary:

Aldao writes to D. Rudecindo Albarado, who helped free him from Unitario imprisonment under General José María Paz. This letter, written from Mojo, Bolivia, thanks Albarado for his help and places himself at his service. He awaits word from Facundo Quiroga on what to do next.

Infamous for his destructive temper, drinking, and card playing, the priest Félix Aldao (1785-1845) served the federalist cause as a military officer and governor of Mendoza.
