    Causa criminal seguida contra los aútores y complices de los asesinatos perpetrados en Barranca-Yaco, Territorio de Cordoba, el dia 16 de febrero del año de 1835, en las personas del Exmo. Sr. Brigadier General D. Juan Facundo Quiroga, comisionado del exmo. gobierno de Buenos-Aires; su secretario, Coronel Mayor D. José Santos Ortíz, y demas individuos de su comitiva : con las defensas de los reos, acusación del Fiscal del Estado, dictamenes del Juez Comisionado, y del Asesor General, y las ultimas actuaciones hasta la sentencia definitiva, y su egecución. Buenos-Aires: Imprenta del Estado, 1837.

    Commentary:

    This extensive document, commissioned by Rosas, gives the official version of Facundo’s assassination, the trial of the accused, the verdict handed down against them, and the execution of the convicted. Santos Pérez led the force that attacked and killed Facundo at Barranca Yaco. The Reynafé brothers, including José Vicente Reynafé, the governor of Córdoba, were convicted and executed.
