This political memoir by the general Tomás Iriarte describes the military operations mounted against Rosas. Iriarte, exiled in Uruguay, publicly and privately worked to defeat Rosas. In one case, he arranged for the placement of a bomb in Rosas’ administrative offices, but the bomb failed to explode.
